So the story goes that "all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse" well not in this house. This Christmasy Mouse scurries around for many many months before, preparing for the big day! From picking perfect gifts or getting ideas to make gifts and collect all their gift wrapping, labels and miles of ribbons, all the create the perfect gift.
For a Christmasy Mouse, Christmas and the festive period is the best time of years, sparkles, glistening snow, delicious smells coming from houses that are preparing their feast and festive cheer which just brings smiles to everyone's faces especially a Christmas Mouse.
Now of course you can't be expected to make all your presents and cook the turkey and all the trimmings as well as decorate the house, for one person that is just too much. but you can do little things to bring that festive spirit to you in a small way.
My list would be:
1) Festive baking-ginger bread houses/cookies
2) Make simple presents in a jar
3) Hand decorate the wrapping (even if present is shop bought)
4) Start preparing in November to reduced stress so you can enjoy baking!
